If you have a technical question about iText, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE DEVELOPERS PERSONALLY. There are thousands and thousands of iText users, but there are only a handful of iText developers. You can't expect the iText developers to answer each and every question individually. Questions about iText should be posted to the mailing list:
iText has a very active mailing list. If you don't want to register rightaway, You can read the FAQ and to search the mailinglist archives first. There are different mirror sites for the mailing list archives; you'll find the archives on the following URLs:
Please send a mail to the mailing list if one of these links is broken; or if you know about another service that mirrors the mailing list archives.
Note that you need to be subscribed if you want to post your question directly to the list. If you aren't subscribed, your mail has to be approved by an administrator first. This can result in a delay before your question reaches the list. It can even result in the removal of your mail. The administrator removes numerous SPAM messages on an almost daily basis; it can happen that your message isn't recognized as a genuine question (for instance if the subject line doesn't contain any reference to iText). Check the archives to see if your answer appears before you double post a question.
Tip: please describe the problem in the subject line of your mail in a few words; subject lines containing 'URGENT', 'HELP NEEDED' or 'QUESTION' only produce noise.
