Bienvenue! We are back from Documation in Paris. Our team was in stand E07. And, you may have seen them out on the show floor getting to know the other vendors and visitors while talking about document workflow and how we can help. We also had a talk “Lost and found: Data and the document lifecycle”, where we discussed document flow and some best practices for your data processes. We were pleased to hear from our customers that they consider iText Core as a fantastic tool to optimize performance. And, that our four add-ons plus last developments (Digital signature, PDFXFA, PDF to Data) were...

iText at Devoxx US
We are back and recuperated from Devoxx US in San Jose, CA. Although we are regulars at some of the Devoxx events, we were happy to attend the first US version. Our minifigs worked hard to set up a fun experience this year. We had our first ever iText photobooth at the event, and it was a hit. If you want to see all of our photobooth pictures you can check them out on our Facebook page . We also had a popular raffle for some lego sets, that had some pretty happy winners. All in all, we had a great time talking PDF with you...

The Café des Belges booth was a Belgian delegation, brought together by Startups.be, a great partner of ours. The delegation included 10 Belgian companies this year, in a café format. The PDF Days Conference is quickly approaching, held in Berlin May 15-16. At the conference, the PDF Association will host talks about PDF Specification updates and reveal some seriously big news. Although, we don't know everything, we do know that the big reveal for this year's PDF Days will be BIG. The super secret project is code named "next-generation PDF”. Easily the most exciting (and radical!) development in PDF technology for years, next-generation PDF marries core PDF capabilities to the flexibility of web technologies. The development of this technology is ongoing, and actively supported by many members of the PDF Association, including iText. The real name, purpose and status of “next-generation PDF” will be revealed in the initial Keynote session and subsequent dedicated track at PDF Days 2017

A small country with big ideas, Belgium is the birthplace of the saxophone, the Mercator projection and the combustion engine, but key contributions to the digital space such as Drupal, the jpeg format, and even the World Wide Web have Belgian origins. And let's not forget iText: we have Belgian roots too. That's why iText is one of the sponsors of the Belgian mission to South by Southwest (SXSW) organized by startups.be and Morning Glory , co-sponsored by Jack ,...
